Facebook Releases - Facebook Lite
Many of us complaints about the Facebook app is that it can take huge amount of phone resources and makes phone too slow also its not working properly in slow internet connection i.e. on 2G, specially on low end devices.
So, probably why Facebook released Facebook Lite, a super lightweight version of its app directed at developing markets.
Currently, the app is only available officially in a few countries—Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, South Africa, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.
If you're having an older device, a slower network, or don't want the extra junk, Facebook Lite is the best option for it.
